About My Practice
Healing is not a process of fixing what’s broken. It’s a gentle unraveling of survival patterns, a softening into safety, and a remembering of the parts of you that have always been whole. My work blends somatic therapy, nutritional and body-based support, and botanical guidance to help you reconnect with your body’s innate wisdom.
I believe healing happens when the nervous system feels supported, nourished, and grounded. Together, we create a space where your body can exhale, your story can unfold at its own pace, and your system can begin to shift from survival into presence, connection, and choice.
My approach is intentionally integrative: weaving evidence-based somatic modalities, nutrition and nourishment practices, and the gentle support of plant medicine to address healing on physical, emotional, and energetic levels. Whether you’re healing from trauma, struggling with connection to your body, navigating your relationship with food or seeking a deeper sense of alignment, our work will be rooted in compassion, curiosity, and collaboration.
About Me
I’m Nichole Raymond, MSW and an integrative wellness practitioner. My work centers on trauma healing, nervous system regulation, and whole-person nourishment. With a background in clinical social work, dietetics, and integrative health sciences, I bring a grounded, interdisciplinary perspective to healing.
I’m trained in cognitive and somatic therapy, as well as mind–body approaches, and I integrate my expertise in nutrition and botanical support to help clients build sustainable, embodied resilience. I specialize in working with trauma, disordered eating, and people who feel disconnected from their bodies or stuck in patterns of survival.
What guides me most is the belief that healing is not linear and that every person deserves care that honors their complexity, their physiology, and their inner wisdom. I hold space with gentleness and attunement, and I work collaboratively so your needs, pace, and preferences shape our process.
Outside the therapy room, you’ll find me immersed in the natural world, studying plant medicine, walking in the forest with my dog and my partner, or exploring the intersections of neuroscience, embodiment, and resilience.
My Approach
Somatic Therapy
Trauma lives in the body, and so does healing. I use somatic interventions to help you deepen awareness, regulate your nervous system, and shift patterns that feel “stuck” or automatic. Together, we work with sensations, breath, movement, boundaries, and emotional presence to support embodied healing.
Nutritional Support
Food is information. Nourishment impacts mood, energy, sleep, stress response, and the body’s ability to regulate. I offer integrative nutrition support to help you reconnect to your body’s cues, understand the physiology behind your symptoms, and build nourishment practices that foster stability and resilience.
Botanical Support
Plants offer gentle, powerful support for grounding, healing, and resilience. I integrate botanical education and guidance, such as teas, tinctures, aromatics, or herbal allies, based on your needs and preferences, always within an ethical, trauma-informed, and evidence-informed framework.
Nervous System Regulation
At the core of all our work is your autonomic nervous system. We explore how your system has adapted to your lived experience, and we gently build capacity for safety, connection, and presence.
Collaborative + Empowering
Healing is not something I do to you, it’s a process we co-create. You are the expert on your experience. My role is to support you with tools, compassion, nervous system education, and a grounded, attuned presence.
